During Chinese New Year holiday, in order to celebrate the Festival and create a happy, prosperous and delightful atmosphere, Spring Festival Temple Fair of Daming Lake Park is held in the park. The staff of the park have made a sitcom named “Emperor Qianlong Greeting the Guests” for the  visitors. They invite the tourists to join the activities such as “ Calligraphy Conferring” and“Fortune  Conferring” which are popular among the citizens and tourists.
There are also performances of folk arts such as acrobatics, lion dance, dragon dance, stilts, Chinese sedan carrying, facial expression change and other folk arts. The tourists will see different  folk  arts.
The colorful Temple Fair activities mainly include five categories: folk arts & handcrafts made on  site show, local flavors, entertainments, performances and book fair.
