Misty Rain over Quehua Bridge

From:天下第一泉Views:22

Misty Rain over Quehua Bridge is one of the eight old scenes of Jinan and one of today’s sixteen newly-built scenes. Quehua Bridge is an ancient single-hole stone bridge. Standing on the bridge, one can see Que Hill and Hua Hill are like two dancing fairies in green. The paths crisscross in the fields in the countryside. The cooking smoke rises from the houses of the villages. This peaceful scene is like a Chinese ink painting. The greatpainter Zhao Mengfu in the Yuan Dynasty once drew The Autumn Scene of Que Hill and Hua Hill which became a masterpiece. The painting is now kept in the Palace Museum in Taipei.
