In the past time, there was a huge bamboo wood on the southeast bank of Daming Lake. In the Ming Dynasty, a well-known official, Zhao Shiqing built Xiaoqi Garden which became a well-known garden and literary salon since the Ming Dynasty. It is one of the “Sixteen Spots in Licheng”. In order to develop the cultural connotation and inherit history, this historical spot will be rebuilt in the new area of Daming Lake Park.
